This site exists because the free tier of every popular PDF site is a funnel. Smallpdf gives you two tasks a day. Sejda gives you three an hour. iLovePDF caps file sizes and puts the useful settings behind an account. All of them upload your document to a server first.
The tools here work the other way round. Where the job can be done in a browser, it is done in a browser, which removes the reason for a limit. No server is doing work on your behalf, so there is no cost to meter and no queue to protect.
Who writes this
The site is built and written by Aurangzeb Khan. The explanations are written from the behaviour of the libraries doing the work rather than copied from other tool sites, which is why the limitations are described as plainly as the features.
What this site will not do
It will not add a watermark to your file. It will not ask you to create an account to finish something you started. It will not tell you that you have used two of your three free tasks. And it will not describe a tool as private if it is not, which is what the amber badge is for.
How it pays for itself
Advertising, placed in the written sections of pages. Never inside a drop zone, a file list or a download panel, because an advert next to a Download button is a trap and everybody knows it.
