Your files

Tools marked with a green badge process your document entirely inside your browser. The file is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We do not receive it, cannot read it, do not store it and have nothing to delete. This is not a promise about our conduct, it is a description of how the software works, and the how it works page explains how to verify it.

Tools marked with an amber badge send your file to a server because the conversion cannot be done in a browser. Those files are used only to produce your download and are deleted immediately afterwards. Every such tool says so in its first paragraph, before you choose a file.

What is stored in your browser

Nothing about your documents. The site does not use local storage or cookies to remember what you processed.

Server logs

Our web server keeps standard access logs: the page requested, the time, the browser user agent and the IP address. These are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse. They contain no information about the contents of any file, because no file reaches the server for the browser-based tools.

Advertising

Advertising on this site is served by third parties who may set their own cookies and use them to show relevant adverts. Those cookies are governed by the advertiser's own policy, not this one. Advert code never has access to your files, which are held in a part of the page it cannot reach.
